OMA offers design solutions for hydraulic equipment intended for use on Wheel Brakes, also with capabilities to supply a fully integrated system aimed at rotary wing aircraft and remote piloted aircraft.

The braking operation is achieved using the hydraulic power provided either by the helicopter hydraulic system or by a dedicated power module, also developed by OMA within the scope of a stand-alone system interfaced in a fly-by-wire aircraft architecture.

Using structural design, thermal management and materials technology, OMA is able to define the most suitable solution fitting Customers’ specific needs, also taking advantage of our competencies on different friction materials, to reduce part weights while ensuring superior performance and reduced maintenance phases.
