Our landing gear actuation products include: main and nose retract, landing gear doors, steering, lock stay and side brace actuators. Those products provide the actuation force for landing gear operations, using the aircraft hydraulic power supply.

Actuation products are based on single rod cylinder type and range from single to double acting effect with possible integration of snubbing devices and flow control valves to prevent shock and adjust actuation speed. Actuators’ extension and/or retraction locking is granted by internal locking devices (finger collet or grip-wedge type).

Equipped with dynamic seals and slide rings to avoid metal-to-metal contact, actuators ensure low wear and friction, also using scrapers to protect from any external contamination.

Actuators’ length adjustment is performed by threaded Eye Ends, also provided with antirotating nibs.

Surface coating (e.g. HVOF, chromium plating) is applied on the ram rods to increase corrosion and wear resistance and avoid jamming.
