Landing Gear Actuators
OMA designs, develops, tests, manufactures and repairs hydraulic and electromechanical actuators for use on rotary and fixed-wing aircraft landing gears.
Our landing gear actuation products include: main and nose retract, landing gear doors, steering, lock stay and side brace actuators.

Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems
Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems (TRAS) control the deployment of aircraft thrust reversers, minimizing runway stopping distances. OMA is able to design, develop and manufacture TRAS components such as:
- Electro-hydraulic shut-off and control valves with operational pressure state indication and manual inhibit modes.
- Hydraulic and electro-hydraulic lock actuators with lock state indication
- Hydraulic actuators for thrust reverser deploy and stow operations, integrating internal locking devices to avoid thrust reverser inadvertent deploy in flight.
OMA has also engineering and manufacturing expertise to design and develop fully integrated TRAS solutions based upon Customer specifications

Airbrake Actuation Systems
OMA produces fully integrated hydraulic actuation systems for Airbrake flight control. The systems typically integrate a control valve package equipped with a servovalve, a swivel manifold, a hydraulic actuator including an internal LVDT and the relevant piping. The system is developed to support the implementation of a dual redundant, closed loop, fly-by-wire architecture.

Utility Actuators
OMA has acquired a wide experience in design and manufacturing of hydraulic actuators to be utilized for different applications.
- In-flight refueling: In-flight refueling actuators are typically installed on fighter jets to allow refueling probe deployment in-flight.
- Ramp: OMA has gained experience in the design and manufacturing of rear ramp actuators to support air lifter needs for cargo ramp operation.
- Cargo door: OMA designs and manufactures actuators to control Cargo Doors opening/closing. The actuators can also be equipped with an internal locking device to hold the door in position in case of hydraulic failure.
- Canopy: canopy actuators are typically installed on fighter jets to operate canopy opening and closing upon pilot command. OMA has developed and certified canopy actuators integrating releasable heads in order to support canopy jettison functionality in case of pilot ejection.
